In this leadership role, you will create and nurture business relationships with decision-makers at priority accounts. You will coach field team members on effective partnership-building with prospective customers and develop strategic, modern, outcome-based plans aligned with Workhuman's objectives. Staying informed about HR industry trends, technology, competitive landscape, and people philosophies in social recognition and continuous performance development will be crucial. You will collaborate with sales leaders to define and modernize Workhuman's strategic direction while fostering cohesiveness and collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, customer success, and legal teams. Travel may be required for customer presentations, tradeshows, Workhuman sponsored events, and leadership or team meetings. As part of team development, you will hire, coach, motivate, and continuously develop a world-class field sales team, cultivating a sales culture that reflects values of innovation, determination, imagination, and respect. You will continuously track progress against key performance indicators, working closely with Business Operations and Sales Enablement teams, fulfilling reporting and metric requirements via Salesforce, and providing weekly sales forecasts to Workhuman's leadership team. Achieving your annual booking goal will be a key performance indicator for your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 15+ years leading, coaching, and building sales territory teams, with 5+ years in SaaS space.
  • Executive-level skills in complex sales strategy, development, financial structuring, negotiations, and closing new clients.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building an innovative, modern, motivated, and driven sales organization.
  • Experience selling to Human Resources professionals at all levels, in addition to partnering cross-functionally with Finance and Legal.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in Salesforce with a focus on data consistency and best practices.
  • Ability to recruit, lead, motivate, and coach high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven track record in driving consistent performance and growth in a mid-stage company year over year.
  • Training in Challenger sales methodology strongly preferred.
