About the position
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for driving significant sales growth for a fast-growing provider of women's Halloween costumes and lingerie. This role involves managing major accounts, leading the sales team, and interfacing with mass market customers to enhance top-line performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the apparel industry and a passion for the products, aiming to elevate the company's sales to new heights.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for top-line performance
- Directly manage major accounts, inside sales, independent representatives, e-commerce, and customer representatives
- Directly interface and generate business with mass market customers including adding additional customers
- Guide Marketing on what is needed for sales success
- Provide customer feedback to Design to adjust future product offerings
- Hiring and firing of all sales personnel
- Attend industry conferences
Requirements
- 5+ years of wholesale apparel sales experience
- 2+ years of management experience
- Proven success in generating significant sales growth in the apparel industry
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Superior follow-through skills and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel nationally
