About the position

The VP of Salesforce and Core Applications at Oncourse Home Solutions is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple technology functions, including Call Center technologies, ERP systems, and Custom applications. Reporting to the CIO, this position plays a critical role in managing IT projects, ensuring high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executing projects efficiently and effectively, with a focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain technology teams across Contact center and Core applications including Salesforce Sales and Service CRM, Amazon Connect telephony, Oracle ERP, Claims System, Call analytics, and agent workforce management.
  • Lead and inspire the Salesforce and Core application teams to engage with the business and identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and maximize return on investment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and quality issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Demonstrate action-oriented leadership by addressing performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify emerging technology trends and ensure the company leverages them to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of engineering teams.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and accountability among the team.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for IT initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor software development policies to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to procure resources and technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology (or relevant experience required).
  • 15+ years of experience in leading architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of complex enterprise-class IT solutions.
  • 7+ years' experience in an engineering leadership role including coaching/mentoring of level 2 managers.
  • 7+ years' experience directly managing implementation and enhancement of Salesforce Sales and Service CRM solution.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, Amazon Connect, Workforce management systems, Net/C#, Java, Rest APIs, Data and Analytics, DevOps is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MS, MBA, or related advanced degree (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of technologies from infrastructure to systems development to cloud architecture and SaaS.
