About the position

The Vice President of Strategic Accounts at MMIT is responsible for managing and expanding business relationships with pharmaceutical clients. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor, understanding client strategies, and ensuring the renewal and growth of long-term partnerships. The VP will leverage their expertise to identify opportunities, address risks, and collaborate with internal teams to align MMIT's solutions with client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own business relationships with pharmaceutical clients to ensure renewal and expansion of partnerships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for key leaders and identify how MMIT's solutions support client business priorities.
  • Understand each client's strategy and corporate priorities to proactively identify opportunities or address risks.
  • Build relationships of influence with key executives and decision makers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Lead the contract renewal processes and align product offerings with client needs.
  • Identify new opportunities by building relationships with new brand teams and addressing business needs with MMIT's solutions.
  • Collaborate internally with Client Success and Solutions specialists.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of expanding business with clients by engaging key stakeholders.
  • Ability to approach interactions from a strategic perspective and create account plans.
  • Experience leading contract negotiations in rapidly changing environments.
  • Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and ability to communicate its strategic value.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10-15 years of experience in similar roles preferred.
