About the position

The Vice President of Supply Chain Systems at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits will lead the technology strategy for the Supply Chain business function, collaborating with executive leaders to deliver innovative solutions that enhance supplier and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in executing a 10-year roadmap aimed at growth and profitability through advanced technology capabilities, overseeing the entire lifecycle of Supply Chain technology solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leaders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive the implementation of company-wide initiatives and represent Supply Chain needs in the IT portfolio.
• Provide strategic guidance during the development of the overall IT strategy.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain technology team.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on technology trends impacting the Supply Chain organization.
• Accountable for the Supply Chain technology strategy, including development and implementation.
• Coordinate Supply Chain solution needs with the overall IT strategy.
• Optimize existing platforms and co-create future technology needs with Supply Chain leaders.
• Educate the Supply Chain organization on the value of IT solutions.
• Ensure proper change management and communications for successful execution of IT solutions.
• Partner with the Head of Infrastructure to ensure superior IT service delivery.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place for all Supply Chain systems.
• Support cyber policy and proactive mitigation efforts in partnership with the CISO.
• Maintain knowledge of Supply Chain technology trends and establish a solution architecture roadmap.
• Lead teams that manage relationships with key Supply Chain stakeholders and translate business needs into requirements.
• Oversee the implementation, deployment, and support of all Supply Chain platforms.
• Engage and direct third-party partners and coordinate with various IT teams.
• Define Key Performance Indicators for the Supply Chain Solutions group and participate in the Annual Operating Plan cycle.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders within the Supply Chain Solutions group and drive employee engagement.

Requirements

• 15+ years in a leadership role managing supply chain technology efforts with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management, Automation, Planning & Management, and Transportation technologies, particularly with Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, and Roadnet/Omnitracs routing solutions.
• Experience managing and developing large teams in a matrixed work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
