About the position

The Vice President of Supply Chain Systems at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits will lead the technology strategy for the Supply Chain function, collaborating with executive leaders to deliver innovative solutions that enhance supplier and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in driving the company's ambitious 10-year roadmap aimed at accelerating growth and profitability through advanced technology capabilities. The VP will oversee the entire Supply Chain technology ecosystem, ensuring effective management of technology solutions from concept to execution, while fostering strong relationships within the organization and with third-party partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive the implementation of company-wide initiatives and represent Supply Chain needs in the IT portfolio.
• Provide strategic guidance during the development of the overall IT strategy, ensuring alignment with Supply Chain objectives.
• Lead the Supply Chain technology team in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on technology trends impacting the Supply Chain organization.
• Develop and implement the Supply Chain technology strategy, optimizing existing platforms and co-creating future technology needs.
• Educate the Supply Chain organization on the value of IT solutions.
• Ensure proper change management and communication for successful execution of IT solutions for Supply Chain users.
• Partner with the Head of Infrastructure to ensure superior IT service delivery.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place for all Supply Chain systems.
• Support cyber policy and proactive mitigation efforts in collaboration with the CISO.
• Maintain knowledge of Supply Chain technology trends and establish a solution architecture platform roadmap.
• Lead a team that manages relationships with key Supply Chain stakeholders and translates business needs into functional requirements.
• Oversee the implementation, deployment, and support of all Supply Chain platforms, engaging third-party partners as necessary.
• Define Key Performance Indicators for the Supply Chain Solutions group and participate in the Annual Operating Plan cycle.

Requirements

• 15+ years in a leadership role managing supply chain technology efforts with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, information systems, or business administration.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management, Automation, Planning & Management, and Transportation technologies, particularly with Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, and Roadnet/Omnitracs routing solutions.
• Experience managing and developing large teams in a matrixed work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
