About the position

The Vice President of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the organization's talent acquisition strategy and operations. This role involves developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent across all levels of the organization. The VP will collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports the organization's objectives.
  • Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the talent acquisition leaders and team.
  • Design recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening candidates to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Stay aware of industry best practices and innovative solutions to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling recruitment marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to attract a diverse slate of candidates and support diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Utilize data to report outcomes and make informed decisions to improve time-to-fill and time-to-start metrics.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of talent acquisition strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for improving talent acquisition processes and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in using data to solve problems and drive decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with compliance and reporting requirements in talent acquisition.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $105K - $133K per year.
