About the position

In this role, you will lead the technical product management function across FIS Core and BPaaS portfolios, reporting to the SVP of Product Management. Your primary focus will be on driving improved operational metrics, fostering a customer-centric product development culture, and managing a global team of product owners. You will collaborate with engineering and business line leadership to enhance speed, quality, and predictability in product delivery, while ensuring consistent practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical product management function across FIS Core and BPaaS portfolios.
• Manage a global team of product owners, driving accountability and ownership.
• Improve operating metrics related to speed, quality, and predictability.
• Establish a customer-centric product development culture in partnership with engineering and business line leadership.
• Create a logical framework for cross P&L dependency management.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure consistent ways of working across all FIS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in a similar role or industry.
• Thorough knowledge of FIS products supported.
• General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management, and planning skills.
• Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and associated products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize judgment in decision-making processes.
• Experience interacting with engineering and business teams.
