About the position

The VP of Technical Product Operations at Steer Health is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the product strategy and execution of Software as a Service (SaaS) projects. This position involves leading a team of product managers, collaborating across various departments, and driving the development of innovative healthcare solutions that enhance patient experiences and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and work across functional areas to drive the product strategy and roadmap.
• Own the development, execution, and management of the product strategy to bring new capabilities and product lines to life.
• Lead and develop a talented product management team through coaching, talent recognition, and performance management.
• Build trusted relationships across the enterprise and influence business partners.
• Own the product roadmap for a subset of products, prioritizing initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create effective relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders, including the senior leadership team.
• Identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the organization's ability to meet its goals.
• Create and maintain sequencing of initiatives, prioritization, and trade-offs regarding strategic goals.
• Perform deep data-driven analysis to surface actionable insights and product requirements.
• Drive cross-functional strategic projects and measure their business impact.
• Incorporate user and market insights into the product development process.
• Develop strategies to drive engagement with existing products and impact revenue.

Requirements

• 12+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS and Healthcare.
• 5+ years of direct management experience.
• Sound knowledge and hands-on experience with FHIR API integrations and HL7 standards.
• Strong leadership qualities in managing technical operations and product operations.
• Proven experience in product development and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated product management leadership with successful B2B product launches.
• Experience in hiring, managing, and leading product managers.
• Background in the healthcare industry or closely related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to think strategically while executing on the ground.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
• Strong data and analytics background.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Canva and Figma.
• Exposure to BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
