About the position
This position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all BT infrastructure, including transformation strategy, operational planning, and the effective delivery of BT infrastructure services across the organization. The role involves providing inspirational leadership to the BT Operations Team, aligning goals with the organization's mission, and ensuring the infrastructure capabilities meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the infrastructure transformation strategy, including cloud transition and service delivery strategy.
- Maintain currency on new technologies and provide direction on their integration into infrastructure.
- Design and oversee infrastructure services, establishing short and long-term strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Create a positive culture and work environment that leverages team talents to achieve goals.
- Select, develop, and engage talent to maintain a high-performing team.
- Initiate and lead change within the team and across the organization.
- Manage the evaluation and compensation processes for team members.
- Ensure all infrastructure and networks operate according to standards and legal requirements.
- Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budgets for infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of information technology experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership and management experience preferred.
- Exceptional people leadership and talent development skills.
- High learning agility and ability to apply past experiences in new situations.
- Proven experience leading technology transformation and change initiatives.
- Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Solid project management skills.
