About the position

The VSD Talent Associate at Kforce Inc is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and managing independent contractor and third-party candidates. This role involves leveraging relationships with candidates and clients to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with employment documentation and contractual obligations. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to building lasting relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, recruit, package and match qualified candidates through sourcing activities.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to qualify candidates, obtaining work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Validate employment documents in accordance with USCIS policies for foreign national candidates.
  • Review and approve/deny vendor candidates based on resumes and required experience to ensure proper matches to job orders.
  • Establish a pipeline and communication plan with virtual bench candidates through consistent activities.
  • Prioritize job orders to ensure coverage on all assigned requisitions and package candidates for client presentation.
  • Develop and maintain client expectations regarding job orders and ensure they are met.
  • Coordinate client interviews with candidates and communicate necessary feedback throughout the recruiting process.
  • Manage vendor relationships, addressing issues related to employment documentation, interviews, and offers.
  • Negotiate candidate pay rates and establish appropriate client bill rates as required.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to vendor/consultant issues to avoid service breaks to end-clients.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new vendors and work order creation as required.
  • Contribute to customer service efforts related to candidate/client activities, including quality assurance and follow-up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Previous working experience in a staffing environment and/or recruiting preferred.
  • Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Vendor Management Systems.
