The Vertical CNC Lathe Operator/Machinist position at Johnson Centrifugal Technology involves operating and setting up large lathes to machine various metal alloys. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate vertical CNC lathes ranging from 42" to 74".
- Machine steel, aluminum, nickel, and copper alloys according to specifications.
- Maintain quality control throughout the machining process.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in machining or CNC operation preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
- Possession of personal tools for machining is advantageous.
