About the position

The Vue.JS Front End Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining web applications using Vue.js. The position requires a solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and emphasizes hands-on experience with Vue.js in production environments. The developer will work in a hybrid model, spending three days onsite each week, and will be part of an Agile Scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js.
• Write unit tests in JavaScript using frameworks like Karma, Mocha, Chai, Sinon, and Enzyme.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through source control practices using Git or SVN.
• Implement responsive design and ensure accessibility standards are met.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on project experience in Vue.js with real production projects.
• Good knowledge of JSP, Handlebars, or similar templating languages.
• Experience with SASS/SCSS or similar preprocessors.
• Experience writing unit tests in JavaScript.
• Understanding of HTML semantics and CSS cascading/specificity.
• Experience working with source-controlled code bases like Git or SVN.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Spring-based applications.
• Familiarity with Java, PHP, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (Keyboard/VoiceOver).
• Experience with tools like Node/Npm and Webpack.
