About the position

VYPE Media is seeking experienced freelance sports videographers to capture game film and sporting events for coaches in the greater Houston area. The role involves picking up filming equipment, traveling to event locations, setting up, filming, and delivering the completed footage back to the office. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, as events occur primarily on weekday evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Pick up filming equipment from the office before each shift.
• Travel to various locations to film sporting events.
• Set up filming equipment at the event site.
• Capture high-quality game footage from designated filming locations.
• Return completed game film to the office immediately after the event.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in filming is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Dependable and reliable transportation is necessary.
• Ability to carry bags weighing between 5 to 15 pounds.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DSLR camera equipment is preferred.
