About the position

The Lead Java Developer is a senior role responsible for leading, designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based software applications. This position requires extensive experience in Java programming and related technologies, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in Java programming
• Proficient in Java, SpringBoot, and Microservices
• Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
• Strong understanding of design patterns and data structures
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and team player
