About the position

The AWS Python Developer role focuses on enhancing and migrating the current application infrastructure to a more scalable and highly available environment. The position involves defining best practices for application deployment, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and writing infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.
• Set up a monitoring stack.
• Define service capacity planning strategies.
• Implement the application's CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
• Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, such as CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of application deployment strategies.
