About the position

ADP is hiring a Wage Garnishment Call Center Representative I. In this role, you will be responsible for handling phone calls related to garnishment inquiries from clients, their employees, custodial parents, and agencies. Your primary focus will be to ensure that ADP complies with federal and state garnishment laws. You will partner with our service, implementation, and operations teams to address any non-compliance issues or escalated concerns, aiming to reduce or eliminate potential liabilities. Additionally, you will process potential judgments against ADP and/or our clients by ensuring that all proper notifications and payments are sent to courts and agencies in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Handling phone calls regarding garnishment related questions from clients, client's employees, custodial parents, and agencies to ensure compliance with federal and state garnishment laws.
  • Processing inquiries from the operations department when documents are received indicating that notifications or payments have not been received.

Requirements

  • Up to 1 year of directly related experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • One plus years of Call Center experience with a high emphasis on client service.
  • Experience with payroll or payroll garnishments.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PC skills, including proficient use of various Windows-based applications.
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Proven ability to adapt to frequent changes and updates.
  • Proven ability to follow operating procedures and instructions.
  • Organizational skills: the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently and make sound decisions.
