About the position

The Warehouse Admin position at Luxor Staffing involves managing and recording shipping data, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations. The role is essential for maintaining the integrity of the warehouse and inventory systems, facilitating smooth transitions between shifts, and complying with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Record all inbound and outbound shipping data, productivity, and other data into the inventory planning system.
• Prepare necessary documentation for Production Leaders and/or Operation Leaders, including work orders and shipping orders.
• Print all shipping or production labels as required.
• Examine incoming shipments and compare with the manifest or invoice to verify accuracy, reporting discrepancies as necessary.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies as needed.
• Communicate to Warehouse Leadership any damages, shortages, or non-conforming materials.
• Communicate with carriers to arrange shipments and compare rates when possible.
• Compute or document data such as space, shipping, storage, or other calculations as needed.
• Ensure the integrity of the warehouse and inventory systems through proper quality control and cycle counts.
• Ensure a smooth transition pre-shift and post-shift production with inventory being brought to the line by warehouse associates.
• Prepare documentation such as inventory logs, warehouse management reports, and noted discrepancies.
• Assist with scheduled or ad hoc cycle counts and inventories, investigating discrepancies to root cause.
• Weigh, estimate, and count unused production material, updating inventory systems and relabeling material.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or greater
• 2 Years of experience in a similar role
• 1+ Years of experience in the industry

Nice-to-haves

• Forklift experience preferred
• Lean Certified preferred, not required
