Regular audits will be conducted to maintain accurate inventory records, and the manager will work to optimize inventory turnover rates while minimizing excess stock. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. The position also involves overseeing the movement of goods within the supply chain, performing heavy lifting tasks as needed, and strategically managing warehouse processes in compliance with the company's policies and vision. Furthermore, the Inventory Manager will manage the schedules of employees, deliveries, and shipments to optimize operations, recruit and train new inventory employees, and record, report, and investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies. The role requires evaluating new inventory to ensure readiness for shipping and setting up layouts to ensure efficient space utilization of freezer spaces.
