Fresno Company is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory control processes. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure consistency in the Inventory Management processes across our organization. The Inventory Manager will supervise, mentor, and develop the Inbound Supervisors at each of our local warehouses, reporting directly to them. This position is crucial for enforcing best practices and increasing the efficiencies of our warehouse inventory team by reducing instances of safety violations, ensuring proper receiving and rotation of our client's products, and assisting with space planning of the freezers. In this role, the Inventory Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures to maximize efficiency. Utilizing data collection and data mining techniques, the manager will analyze inventory levels and trends, collaborating with sales and logistics teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels. Regular audits will be conducted to maintain accurate inventory records, and the manager will work to optimize inventory turnover rates while minimizing excess stock. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. The position also involves overseeing the movement of goods within the supply chain, performing heavy lifting tasks as needed, and strategically managing warehouse processes in compliance with the company's policies and vision. The manager will propose strategies to reduce costs and improve inventory management procedures, manage replenishment and picking processes, and ensure that safety policies and procedures are followed. Furthermore, the Inventory Manager will manage the schedules of employees, deliveries, and shipments to optimize operations, recruit and train new inventory employees, and record, report, and investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies. The role requires evaluating new inventory to ensure readiness for shipping and setting up layouts to ensure efficient space utilization of freezer spaces. The manager will also be responsible for answering and solving inventory issue trackers (Jira Service Desk) within 24-48 hours and supporting outbound operations such as packaging, loading, quality control, and supervising related staff members as needed.
