About the position

Swim and Tri is seeking full-time and part-time Warehouse Associates and Event Sales personnel to support our operations in Knoxville, TN. This role involves working in the warehouse and at off-site events, primarily during weekends, to facilitate sales and manage inventory. The position requires a friendly and sociable personality, as well as strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations during events and in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive vendor shipments and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Pack, unpack, and load merchandise for off-site events.
• Coordinate with the Off-Site Event Manager regarding sales and products to be sold at events.
• Assist in setting up and managing pop-up shops at swim meets within a two to eight hour drive of Knoxville.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and planning skills are highly necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to work is required.
• Some prior sales experience is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience driving a trailer is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills; POS experience is a plus.
