LOGISTEED-America is seeking a Warehouse Associate Customer Service / Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Warehouse Clerk will report directly to the Operation Manager/Supervisor and will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse logistics. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting with customers and processing data accurately. The Warehouse Associate will be expected to meet established procedures and productivity standards while ensuring safety and quality in all operations. This includes reading and comprehending standard operating procedures (SOPs), accurately processing shipments, and maintaining inventory control. In addition to operational duties, the role requires effective communication with both internal and external customers, ensuring that all messages and documents are conveyed clearly. The Warehouse Associate will also participate in training and adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality standards. Flexibility is key, as the position may require availability for holiday, night, and weekend shifts to meet customer needs. Overall, this role is vital in supporting the logistics operations and enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Meet established procedures and productivity, safety, and quality standards.
  • Read and comprehend SOPs, work instructions, and documents; measure and count accurately; write legibly.
  • Create and/or retrieve bill of ladings, shipping documents, and labels.
  • Arrange transport of local and regional shipments and follow up to assure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Accurately process small parcel shipments (UPS/FedEx).
  • Assist in accurate inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Compile, verify, record, and process forms and documents.
  • Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to plan, allocate, and manage daily orders.
  • Continuously review work areas and suggest/implement improvements.
  • Communicate both orally and in writing with clarity and conciseness.
  • Perform tasks safely and ensure area housekeeping requirements are met.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months continuous work experience in Warehouse/Distribution/Manufacturing/Logistics with demonstrated data entry skills.
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems and input/retrieve data accurately.
  • Experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret spreadsheets and business documents.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
