About the position
Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to join our team in Anaheim, CA. Since 1953, Ferguson has been a trusted source of quality supplies across various industries, including Commercial/Mechanical, Facilities Supply, HVAC, and more. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring that customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. This position offers a starting pay rate of $20 per hour, with the potential for increases based on experience. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 5 am to 1:30 pm, with an additional Saturday shift once a month from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders. You will also build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages, utilizing technology such as RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders. Accuracy and timeliness are essential as you receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace is a priority, and you will work collaboratively with your team to uphold these standards. To succeed in this position, you should have 0-3 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management. A high attention to detail, a positive demeanor, and a strong work ethic are essential traits for this role. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment and possess the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures is also important. Pre-employment drug and background screening will be required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.

- Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
