About the position

CTEMS COMPANY, LLC is seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Fremont, CA. As a leading provider of engineering and contract manufacturing services, we specialize in custom cable design and assembly, cable harness design and assembly, and electro-mechanical box builds. Our products are integral to delivering precise and innovative technology solutions for a diverse range of tech-driven, high-growth companies in sectors such as semiconductor, imaging, electric vehicle manufacturing, and solar manufacturing. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in our operations, focusing on the shipping and receiving of inventory and finished goods. This position involves receiving, issuing, and organizing materials to maximize efficiency and preparing materials daily to support CTEMS production. Successful Warehouse Associates will contribute to meeting on-time delivery for our customers and assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse with accurate inventory management. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are accessible, countable, and identifiable, while also maintaining inventory levels to support assembly needs. You will pull materials, restock, and return excess materials as necessary, and review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Completing auditable records such as packing slips, pick lists, and job close-out paperwork is also a key responsibility. Additionally, you will utilize our computer software system to issue and receive materials, and perform any additional duties as needed to support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pickup materials to and from customers as needed
  • Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable & identifiable
  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure crews have material to meet their assembly needs
  • Pull material, restock, and return excess materials
  • Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse
  • Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, job close out paperwork
  • Use computer software system to issue and receive material
  • Additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Must be able to handle packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
  • Computer skills are preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude to pre-assemble parts preferred.
