About the position
Penguin Random House is seeking dedicated Warehouse Associates for the role of Light Picker/Packer on the 2nd shift at our fulfillment center located in Reno, NV. This position is crucial to our operations as we strive to meet and exceed customer expectations by efficiently picking, packing, and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the globe. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders with precision and care. The role requires basic reading and math skills to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders. Physical stamina is essential, as you will be required to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to twenty-five pounds regularly, and occasionally up to thirty-five pounds. Additionally, you must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift, which runs from Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years.
