About the position
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing stock. This role involves physical tasks such as lifting and carrying items, operating equipment, and ensuring proper documentation for shipments. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and offers a competitive hourly wage along with various benefits.
Responsibilities
- Receive, place and load incoming/outgoing stock which requires lifting and carrying items weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance on an intermittent basis for up to eight hours per day.
- Verify receiving/shipping documents and accurate product counts.
- Operate packaging and material movement equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Basic mathematic skills to include an understanding of geometry in order to build stable pallets.
- Reading comprehension and ability to communicate in writing.
