About the position

The Warehouse Associate - Order Puller at Torchstar Corp is responsible for assisting the shipping department in the coordination of order picking, preparation, and shipping of products. Responsibilities

• Assists in expediting the daily workflow of the shipping and receiving team.
• Navigates facilities designated inventory aisles in a safe and efficient manner to ensure an optimized picking schedule.
• Processes items including unboxing, tapping, labeling, packaging, and palletizing as needed.
• Receives instructions from the warehouse supervisor regarding the movement of picked products and processing goods.
• Implements strategies to optimize organizational inventory levels.
• Maintains a clean working area and facilities through general warehouse maintenance.
• Restores product returns by cleaning, testing, re-packaging, and sorting according to company policy.
• Assists in inventory duties such as cycle counting when needed.
• Handles inbound container receiving, unloading containers, and palletizing according to company policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in the professional field.
• Experience in operating machinery such as reach trucks, order pickers, and forklifts.
