About the position

The Warehouse Associate position is a part-time role focused on staging, loading, and unloading finished products and raw materials in a warehouse setting. The job requires working every weekend and involves maintaining inventory and ensuring the safe transport of materials. The associate will also operate forklifts and other equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and unload finished products and raw materials.
• Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Load installation orders of materials on company trucks and complete work orders.
• Deliver lines that are picked up and ensure all paperwork is scanned into the QFloors database.
• Unload receiving materials off trucks and check for accuracy in style, color, quantity, etc.
• Use QFloors database system to scan work orders and print tags for received products.
• Handle returns from vendors and ensure proof of return is obtained.
• Ensure materials are tagged and safely wrapped/strapped for transport.
• Scan signed records into the document system and email to the appropriate department.
• Clean and maintain the work area to ensure safety.
• Operate forklift, trucks, and/or railcars and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience in a similar industry.
• Forklift certification and applicable state certification for truck and/or rail operation preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is a must.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Ability to work as a team player and meet deadlines.
