About the position

S&S Transport, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team in Milton, WI. This full-time position involves working in a newly opened facility and is part of a family-owned company with over 40 years in the logistics industry. The role includes managing the distribution, storage, delivery, and inspection of products, with a focus on maintaining inventory and processing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments using forklifts to load and unload freight.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and inspect incoming shipments.
• Scan shipments and enter them into digital databases.
• Monitor inventory by physically counting items and creating regular inventory reports.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
• Strong organization skills to maintain inventory areas.
• Multitasking skills to manage various tasks simultaneously.
