About the position

The Warehouse Associate position at City Brewing Company involves managing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and operating a forklift to move products. The role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring safe and efficient warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring correct products are received and loaded.
• Receive and unload products into inventory from trucks.
• Ship customer orders and ensure proper paperwork is completed for each load.
• Operate a forklift to load pallets of product into designated locations, ensuring proper stacking and rotation.
• Check completed pallets for accuracy and manage inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
• Fill out claim forms for any breakage to verify inventory adjustments.
• Conduct daily pre and post-shift inspections of assigned forklift for safe operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment in compliance with AIB standards.
• Apply safe work standards in accordance with EHS laws and City Brewery policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and effective use of the Internet.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must pass City Brewery's certification for warehouse equipment (forklift).
• Highly motivated and self-directed, able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
