About the position

BNBuilders is seeking a Warehouse Associate who will play a crucial role in managing all tools and equipment while coordinating the activities of the warehouse. This position is essential for ensuring that all tools and equipment meet the required specifications and are properly maintained. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for servicing and cleaning tools as necessary, visually inspecting materials and tools prior to shipment to job sites, and ensuring that all equipment is returned to the proper bin location after use. This role also involves performing daily inspections and maintenance on the warehouse and yard, as well as general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment. In addition to these responsibilities, the Warehouse Associate may occasionally use a delivery truck to transport materials and tools to job sites. The position requires a proactive approach to safety and maintenance, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that any damages or losses are documented appropriately. This role is not performed in a remote capacity; all employees are expected to complete their work in an office or job site setting. Responsibilities

  • Service and clean tools as necessary.
  • Ensure that tools and equipment meet all previously set specifications.
  • Visually inspect materials and tools prior to shipment to jobsites.
  • Inspect equipment on all returns, noting any lost and/or damages on the return paperwork not previously noted.
  • Return equipment to the proper bin location (i.e. maintenance, damaged, rent ready, etc.).
  • Perform daily inspection and maintenance on warehouse and yard.
  • General housekeeping of warehouse and exterior premises daily.
  • Occasionally use Delivery Truck to deliver materials and tools to jobsites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and respond to emailed inquiries from customers and/or employees.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Some experience and/or training in working with power tools and equipment.
  • General mechanical aptitude.
  • Safety-oriented.
