About the position
The Warehouse Associate position at Aerotek involves a variety of tasks within a distribution center, including receiving and processing stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, and managing inventory using the Oracle ERP system. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and achieving performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock.
- Pack and ship orders.
- Manage, organize, and retrieve stock in the warehouse.
- Utilize Oracle ERP system for logging received shipments, creating pick tickets, and conducting cycle counts.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the working day.
- Replenish materials in the area when required.
- Achieve daily order and pick metrics.
- Meet monthly individual performance targets.
- Undertake general warehouse duties as directed by Supervisors or the Warehouse Manager.
- Be available to work weekends and long hours as needed to achieve department goals.
Requirements
- Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and ERP systems.
- Ability to perform inventory counts and order selection.
- Experience in order pulling and unloading.
- Good attitude, strong work ethic, and flexibility.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a material handler in a distribution center.
- Experience processing, picking, and packing customer orders in line with a Quality Management System.
- Experience as a Warehouse Lead.
