About the position

The Warehouse Associate position involves working in a fast-paced environment at a local distributing facility. The role focuses on accurately processing incoming shipments and efficiently picking and packing orders for delivery or pickup. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process incoming shipments in a timely manner.
• Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Safely operate a forklift to move products.
• Use computer to log shipments into inventory.
• Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years in related experience and/or training required.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Must be able to communicate positively with employees, supervisors, sales staff and customers.
• Must be able to use computers and other common office equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Continually required to talk and hear.
• Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs, up to 80lbs or more as a team.
