About The Position

Yamazen, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate. Established for over 50 years, Yamazen Inc. is a leading importer and distributor of quality CNC manufacturing machinery, including machine tools and injection molding machines. We service manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, medical, and I.T. industries.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous experience operating sit-down and standup forklifts lifting heavy equipment is preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to read and write
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be a team player
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus
• Some knowledge of UPS WorldShip & FedEx Ship Manager is a plus

Responsibilities

• Light picking and packing
• Operating sit-down and standup forklifts
• Packaging product for shipment
• Ability to create and read various labels
• Fulfilling sales orders
• Assisting in receiving product
• Assisting with light maintenance as needed
• Contributing to general cleanliness of the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned
