About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Fairview, TN. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently managing inventory, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse equipment to load and unload shipments, move inventory safely and efficiently, and ensure accuracy in stock counts and condition of goods.
  • Utilize Inventory Management System (IMS) for receiving shipments into inventory, picking orders, tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
  • Support the operation by preparing orders for shipment and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain organized storage areas by following proper inventory management practices and adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work with computers and hand held scanners.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred. Training can be provided if willing to learn.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using inventory management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
