About the position
The Warehouse Associate at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for performing general warehouse activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, building and shrink-wrapping packages, and operating equipment. This role supports the club's digital initiatives and ensures a safe and positive environment for both team members and members. The position emphasizes teamwork, service excellence, and adherence to club policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list.
- Build and shrink-wrap packages for transport.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
- Use handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update locations.
- Communicate inventory and equipment issues to the team.
- Ensure timely picking of orders to meet productivity requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Process returns and handle damaged goods according to procedures.
- Order supplies for the department and maintain open communication with the Club Support Center.
Requirements
- Previous order pulling experience preferred.
- Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
- Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
