About the position

The Warehouse Associate (WA) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse by utilizing forklifts to move goods and maintain inventory. This position requires a team-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift to transport bales and capsacks to their correct locations in the warehouse and stack them appropriately.
• Remove pallets from the back of trucks during the unloading process using a forklift.
• Transport pallets and gayloads to the correct location in the warehouse and stack them appropriately.
• Properly unload donations from multiple trucks per day.
• Create bales throughout the day.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse inventory and organizing it to support overall operations.
• Work effectively with customer service representatives, leadership, and donors in a team environment.
• Maintain a customer-focused perspective in all activities to ensure company needs are met.
• Perform job duties accurately to ensure correct information and products are provided to other personnel and customers.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure safety for self and fellow employees.

Requirements

• Forklift Certification Required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Good attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work on one's feet up to ten hours a day.
• Must be able to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
