About the position

The Warehouse Associate at Rexel USA is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials while adhering to company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. This role involves maintaining the branch warehouse environment and equipment, ensuring a safe workplace, and contributing to a culture of safety and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment.
  • Receive materials from vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verify quantities and descriptions against packing lists.
  • Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves in an orderly manner and report freight damage claims.
  • Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure correct shipping of products.
  • Process shipment paperwork, verify merchandise, apply postage, and follow customer shipping instructions.
  • Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine as required.
  • Load common carrier and company vehicles for delivery.
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on warehouse equipment.
  • Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Make deliveries to branches/customers as needed.
  • Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license if required to make deliveries, must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a pre-employment and annual review of Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
  • No suspended driver's license for traffic accidents/violations within the past 3 years.
  • No at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
