About the position

The position at Pepsi Bottling Ventures involves managing and operating Warehouse Automation Systems to ensure peak operational levels. The role supports continuous material movement through automated warehouse systems, catering to both internal and external customers. The job requires troubleshooting, maintenance, and efficient operation of machinery while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Complete machine/system interface and operation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and correct faults at the 'System Operator' level.
• Resolve data/transactional errors related to automation systems, software, or programs.
• Maintain operator logs and record keeping as required.
• Direct people/work areas to maximize system efficiency and facilitate issue resolution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass fork lift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling equipment.
• Six months of 'sit down' fork lift operation experience preferred.
• One year of automation/production machine operation experience outside of PBV warehouse automation or three months of proven in-house operation.
• Computer/human machine interface skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Math, reading, and writing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in warehouse operations.
