The Warehouse AV Technician position at Pro Audio Video, Inc. is an entry-level role designed for individuals who are eager to support the warehouse lead and deliver equipment while providing small-scale audio-visual (AV) services to customers and clients. This role requires a thorough understanding of audio-visual equipment, including the setup and operation of various tools such as mixing equipment, lighting tools, cameras, microphones, projectors, video recorders, amplifiers, and spotlights. The technician will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a polished appearance and demeanor while adhering to company policies and procedures. In addition to technical skills, the Warehouse AV Technician will be responsible for maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment. This includes assisting the Warehouse Lead and Director of Logistics in improving processes related to event preparation, production, truck loading, and driving routes. The technician will also be involved in quality control, which entails understanding company QC procedures, inspecting and auditing equipment returned from events, and ensuring that all audio, video, and lighting equipment is in show-ready condition. Troubleshooting AV equipment and documenting maintenance records and QC procedures are also key responsibilities of this role. As part of the driving responsibilities, the technician will safely deliver equipment to various customer and event locations, load and offload equipment from company trucks, and transport clients or packages as needed. The technician must be punctual, ensuring timely arrivals at destinations while managing administrative tasks such as office pickups and planning for potential delays due to traffic or weather. Maintaining the company vehicle, including keeping it fueled and arranging for repairs, is also part of the job.
