About the position

The Warehouse Clerk position at Aerotek involves performing entry-level tasks to support the movement, storage, and packaging of inventory in a climate-controlled distribution center. The role requires adherence to clocking in standards and involves various responsibilities related to order pulling, shipping, and receiving.

Responsibilities

  • Pulling orders and preparing orders for shipment
  • Using an RF scanner to pick orders
  • Packing orders into boxes for shipping
  • Loading and unloading different transport items
  • Recording inventory statuses
  • Ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders
  • Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
  • Recording location of inventory
  • Reporting shortages
  • Delivering production materials and supplies where needed
  • Staging finished product for final distribution

Requirements

  • Experience with inventory management
  • Familiarity with order pulling processes
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Ability to pick and pack orders efficiently

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using RF scanners
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment such as hand trucks and forklifts
