The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for managing customer interactions related to warehouse operations, including order processing, inventory checks, shipment tracking, and resolving customer inquiries. This role ensures timely delivery of goods while maintaining accurate documentation and communication with both customers and warehouse staff.

  • Receiving and processing customer orders quickly and accurately.
  • Confirming inventory accuracy after order pickup.
  • Managing special order requests and custom requirements.
  • Answering customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping details, and inventory availability in a timely manner.
  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues related to deliveries, billing, or product discrepancies and documenting for quality control purposes.
  • Providing updates on shipment tracking and estimated delivery times.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels and tracking product movements within the warehouse in the system.
  • Coordinating with warehouse staff through appropriate channels to ensure proper inventory control.
  • Generating necessary documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Scheduling pick-up and delivery arrangements with carriers.
  • Communicating shipping updates to customers in different formats, written and verbal.
  • Handling customer returns and coordinating the return process with the warehouse.
  • Issuing return authorizations and processing related paperwork.
  • Generating reports on order trends, inventory levels, and customer service metrics.
  • Identifying potential issues and proposing solutions to improve warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding order fulfillment and shipping regulations.
  • Ensuring accuracy in data entry and document management.
  • Participating in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Ensuring facility is always inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
  • Communicating and reporting any incidents.
  • One to three years of experience in logistics coordination in an office environment.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Computer Skills: Office 365/Excel/Formulas/Teams/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook/Detailed Data Entry.
  • Logistics: Inventory/Freight Scheduling-Routing/Warehousing/Allocations/Order Tracking/Loadproof/Retail Vending/Logistics programs & guidelines.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of the organization.
  • Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help.
