About the position

The Warehouse Clerk position at Mesa Airlines involves a variety of essential functions related to inventory management and support for maintenance and operations. The role is primarily focused on the shipping, receiving, ordering, transferring, and storage of parts and equipment necessary for the company's operations. The Warehouse Clerk will work closely with all company staff to ensure the efficient dispensing, charging, ordering, and stocking of applicable parts, materials, and supplies. This position requires a commitment to maintaining accurate records and complying with company policies and procedures. In addition to inventory management, the Warehouse Clerk is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse area. This includes the shipping and receiving of aircraft components, expendable materials, and tooling systems across the organization. The role also involves pulling materials and transferring them to support line maintenance, conducting cycle counts on inventory, and auditing controlled materials and other inventory functions. The Warehouse Clerk may also be assigned additional duties or functions as needed, making flexibility and adaptability key traits for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently work with all Company staff in the dispensing, charging, ordering, and stocking of applicable parts, materials, and supplies.
  • Perform receiving and shipping of parts, materials, and supplies.
  • Maintain and file appropriate records.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the warehouse area in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
  • Ship and receive A/C components, expendable material, and A/C tooling systems-wide.
  • Pull material and transfer to support line maintenance.
  • Conduct cycle counts on inventory and audits of controlled material and other inventory functions.
  • Perform other duties or functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a stock room/warehouse preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid non-suspended driver's license.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (items) required.
  • Ability to provide 10 years of employment, education, unemployment history per FAR 108.33.
