About the position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time WMS Coordinator in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. This position offers a competitive hourly pay of $20.00, with an additional $0.75 shift premium for second shift work and a $0.75 pay increase after 6 months of employment. The schedule is for the second shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. The role involves working with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse environment, handling medical supplies, and operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor.
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve problems with the day's orders.
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.
