About the position

The Warehouse Clerk position at Nisqually Red Wind Casino involves receiving and managing incoming products, ensuring accurate inventory control, and providing excellent guest service. The role requires collaboration with various departments to maintain quality standards and efficient operations, while also conducting inventory audits and managing the disposal of obsolete items.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Process return shipments and sort, count, package, and label materials received.
• Prepare daily receiving reports and inspect incoming shipments for damages or defects.
• Deliver items to requisitioning departments or designated storage locations.
• Assist Sous Chefs with the inspection of food products to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Utilize inventory-tracking software and operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Conduct periodic inventory audits and maintain shipping and storage documents.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret inventory reports and documents.
• Knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and maintain records.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Current knowledge of occupational safety issues and ability to manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and methodologies.
• 3+ years in a warehouse facility.
• Customer service experience.
