About the position

The Warehouse Clerk position at Depot Connect International (DCI) involves managing shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse environment. The role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing transactions, and ensuring the timely dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehousing and a strong attention to detail, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and moves heavy items/packages as required.
• Operates gas and electric forklift.
• Uses computer terminal to process transactions, receive and send emails, and research shipping and receiving errors.
• Prepares shipping, export, and other documentation as required.
• Maintains supplies and monitors warehouse stock to ensure availability.
• Performs parts inventory or special inventories on an as needed basis.
• Packages pallets of parts for outgoing shipments.
• Pulls, packs, and ships.
• Receives, quality controls, and warehouses incoming parts.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
• Manages warehouse stock, parts locations, and maintains housekeeping standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Some shipping, receiving, or warehousing experience required
• Computer skills
• Detailed oriented, organized, and punctual
• Experience operating a forklift
• Positive attitude, interpersonal skills, and presents a professional image
• Strong desire to learn and apply learned knowledge
• Strong listening, reading, and verbal skills
• Self-motivated team player
