About the position

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a crucial role in the operations of Freedom Forever, a leading residential solar company. This position involves managing inventory through the Inventory Management System, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with installation crews and contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Complies with warehouse and inventory standard operating procedures
• Keeps warehouse clean and organized
• Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct
• Prepares product for installation via pick ticket
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks) for moving large and heavy items safely and efficiently
• Monitors inventory by completing cycle counts as required
• Discards trash daily to keep warehouse area clear of trash
• May assist in delivering equipment to job sites
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and Insurance
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites
• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
• Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Strong organizational skills
