About the position
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a crucial role in a construction team, overseeing the management of inventory and supplies within the warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient inbound and outbound deliveries, as well as maintaining accurate records of project materials inventory. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations, particularly in OSP construction, and will be adept at using various tools and equipment necessary for the role.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and supplies in the warehouse.
- Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Develop and provide reports on project materials inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Operate a forklift and manual transmission vehicle with a trailer.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience in OSP construction.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Clean driving record; CDL preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience driving a manual transmission vehicle with a trailer.
- Ability to pass background and drug tests.
- Self-motivated with effective interaction skills.
- Basic command of the English language for safety requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver License.
Nice-to-haves
- Utility construction knowledge is a plus.
