The Warehouse/Customer Service Associate at Romanoff Renovations is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, and providing customer service support. This role involves operating a forklift to dispatch carpet goods and supplies according to the daily production schedule, while also maintaining safety and compliance standards. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage inventory by studying daily pull tickets and verifying materials.
• Operate a forklift to secure and move carpet rolls to storage locations.
• Maintain inventory levels by tracking usage and reporting discrepancies.
• Clear storage areas by moving carpet rolls as needed.
• Assist with customer service duties, including scheduling and communication.
• Document actions by logging the movement of supplies and materials.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and procedures.
• Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge.
• Provide supplementary phone coverage during breaks for office staff.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with vehicle insurance.
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Willingness to submit to a background check and proof of employment eligibility.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs to 100 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in warehouse, construction, distribution, logistics, or customer service.
• Forklift Certification/License (training provided by Romanoff Renovations).
