About the position

Masis Professional Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team of our client. This role involves processing orders and receipts, managing inventory, and providing customer service in a warehouse environment. The position is full-time and temporary, with the potential for hire after the initial contract period.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders and receipts by locating, creating, importing, and adjusting charges appropriately.
  • Track, adjust, cancel, and/or relocate inventory through cycle counts.
  • Distribute orders and assign inventory locations as needed.
  • Import items and batch item updates for inventory management.
  • Conduct report analysis to monitor inventory and order processing.
  • Contact carriers and customers daily to ensure smooth operations and communication.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with co-workers to facilitate workflow.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary, with at least 2 years of experience in each.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Logistics background is preferred, with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with at least 2 years of experience.
