About the position

OnTrac is seeking an Operations Assistant Level 1 to support Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service. This role involves interacting with drivers and customers to resolve package discrepancies, ensuring on-time delivery, and performing accurate data entry into the OnTrac system. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Operations Managers with administrative duties and customer service support.
  • Interact with drivers and customers to resolve package discrepancies.
  • Ensure on-time delivery by verifying deliveries and tracking package statuses.
  • Perform accurate data entry into the OnTrac system.
  • Prepare packages for delivery as needed.
  • Research, analyze, and report on daily compliance to management.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their package status.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of related industry experience or training in transportation and delivery.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in stressful situations.
